Community Involved in sustaining Agriculture

Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) strengthens local agriculture by building connections between farmers and the community.

At CISA we take a grounded visionary approach to all of our work by solving today's problems while looking towards future challenges. It is a world where more food and farm products are locally produced, farmers have the skills and resources to sustain their businesses and the land and all community residents have access to locally grown farm products.

The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts

The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts advances social change philanthropy to create economic and social equality for women and girls in Western Massachusetts through grantmaking and strategic initiatives.

The vision of the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts is to empower women and girls to reach their full potential in a world that is just and fair for all. We have three major strategies to bring this vision to life:

  • mobilize and support women's philanthropy because philanthropy is a powerful tool for social change
  • make strategic grants to nonprofit organizations that work with women and girls toward progressive social change in Western Massachusetts
  •  advocate for system improvements for women and girls through research, education, and collaboration
